The Dragon Boat & Asian Festival in Hartford CT has invited Jennifer DeCristoforo back Saturday August 18th, 2018 to bring Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts to this wonderful Asian culture event. She will offer hands-on children’s Chinese craft activities and be signing books. Come to Hartford and enjoy all the free activities, performances, food and exciting dragon boat races. It is held in a beautiful city park along the river and a perfect family event for a warm summer’s day! This day is not to be missed!

Chebeague Island Library Craft Day
Join us for hands-on crafts and fun with Jennifer DeCristoforo, author and publisher of Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts; Over 100 Projects and Ideas Celebrating Chinese Culture. This is a FREE event for all ages and all supplies will be provided. Drop in or stay for a while! The Chebeague Island Library is hosting this event.
FLAME Conference
Jennifer DeCristoforo will exhibit Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts at the Foreign Language Association of Maine (FLAME) annual conference in Portland, Maine. Come learn Chinese crafts and cultural concepts to share with students. This event includes workshops and speakers that focus on foreign language education in the Maine schools. If you want to attend, don’t forget to register!
Boston Chinatown Lunar New Year Cultural Village
Come join the fun on 2/25/18 in New England’s hub of Chinese culture, Boston Chinatown! Peabody Essex Museum Lunar New Year
Join Jennifer DeCristoforo at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA for Lunar New Year children’s crafts from ‘Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts‘ on Saturday, February 17, 2018. We will be celebrating the ‘Year of the Dog’! This is a wonderful, all-day family event with many Chinese cultural performances and hands-on activities. If you’ve never visited this museum, the event is a great opportunity to discover this gem on the north shore of Massachusetts.
Lunar New Year Festival – CAFAM
Jennifer DeCristoforo will be arranging and offering hands-on crafts for this wonderful Chinese New Year celebration in Westbrook, Maine hosted by CAFAM. We will be rolling out great make-and-take projects for Year of the Dog and ‘Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts‘ will be on sale for a special event discount.
There will also be performances, food and cultural presentations and exhibitions.
2nd East Coast National Lion Dance Competition
Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus, MA is the Chinatown Main Street host location for this exciting National Lion Dance Competition. I’m excited to be invited to bring Lucky Bamboo Crafts to the event and make crafts with the kids during the all-day competitions. It is open to the public and a great opportunity to immerse yourself in Chinese culture!
