Jennifer DeCristoforo and Lucky Bamboo Crafts will offer hands-on crafts for Year of the Dragon in the museum’s  MakerSpace. It is a privilege to be invited to share special Lunar New Year crafts in this fantastic, new children’s museum in Portland, Maine.

Join Jennifer DeCristoforo and Lucky Bamboo Crafts for this Year of the Dragon Chinese New Year celebration 10a.m. – 3p.m. sponsored by Boston Chinatown Main Street Association. The festival, right in the heart of Chinatown, includes cultural performances, a parade, lion dances, and of course lots of great hands-on crafts for the kids all day! We hope to see you there!

We will be celebrating the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival and kids can learn about this major Chinese holiday while we enjoy crafting together. All supplies and instruction by Jennifer and the children’s library staff will be provided.
