Come celebrate the ‘Year of the Rat’ at the newly renovated Peabody Essex Museum in the heart of Salem, MA. Jennifer DeCristoforo of Lucky Bamboo Crafts will be guiding special make-and-take art projects for Lunar New Year all day. This museum offers a wonderful Chinese cultural program each year for holiday family fun.

Join Jennifer DeCristoforo and Lucky Bamboo Crafts for this Year of the Rabbit Chinese New Year celebration 11a.m. – 3p.m. sponsored by Boston Chinatown Main Street Association. The festival, right in the heart of Chinatown, includes cultural performances, a parade, lion dances and of course lots of great hands-on crafts for the kids all day! We hope to see you there!

The event includes a performance by Boston’s Chinese Folk Art Workshop and a Chinese Cultural Village with lots of exhibits and activities! We hope to see you there!

Maine Chinese Conference @ Husson College

Jennifer DeCristoforo, author of Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts will be an exhibitor at the Maine Chinese Conference in Bangor, Maine on Saturday, October 14, 2023. She will meet educators, students and other professionals from language learning communities all along the East Coast. She will share ideas for integrating Chinese crafts with Mandarin learning in the classroom, have books for sale. and offer some free materials. From 11a.m. – 12p.m., she will offer a demonstration of crafts from the book. This event requires registration.
