Jennifer DeCristoforo, author of Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts will participate in the museum’s Chinese New Year celebration with crafts and activities for Year of the Goat on Saturday, February 28, 2015.
Chinese crafts and culture from will be offered by Jennifer DeCristoforo, author of ‘Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts’ at this free event in beautiful rural Maine at the Newport Cultural Center. Kids of all ages are welcome to attend.
Jennifer DeCristoforo is bringing Lucky Bamboo Crafts to this wonderful Asian culture event. She will offer hands-on children’s activities all weekend. Enjoy all the activities, performances, food and dragon boat races.

Jennifer DeCristoforo, author of Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts will be leading the ‘Year of the Rooster’ crafts at the Boston Chinatown Main Street Lunar New Year Cultural Village in the heart of Chinatown. Excitement, great food, and lively performances won’t be hard to find!

We will learn about the ancient Chinese history of shadow puppets. Kids will design and make puppets, build a stage, and perform a traditional Chinese legend. This is a two-session program that requires registration.
