2016 Chinese Dragon Camp Crafts @ Husson University

Jennifer DeCristoforo will be offering a one-day workshop  at the 2016 Chinese Dragon Camp with Bangor Chinese School to the registered campers. This is the biggest Chinese School in Maine and offers year-round programs in Mandarin, Chinese culture and travel. They also host the Maine Chinese Conference.

This is a wonderful gathering with authentic Chinese potluck food and a program of performances celebrating the moon.

Jennifer DeCristoforo, author of ‘Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts‘ will be a presenter at the Maine Chinese Conference in Bangor, Maine on October 28, 2016. She will address educators and other professionals from language learning communities all along the East Coast. She will share ideas for integrating Chinese crafts with Mandarin learning in the classroom in her workshop: Teaching Culture and Language through Making Chinese Crafts.

New England 2016 National Lion Dance Competition @ Josiah Quincy School

Boston Chinatown is the host location for this exciting National Lion Dance Competition. I’m excited to be invited to bring Lucky Bamboo Crafts to the event and make crafts with the kids during the all-day competitions. Join the Chinese & American Friendship Association of Maine for a wonderful annual celebration in Portland at the Woodfords Club on Sunday, October 1 at 4p.m.. Enjoy a delicious potluck, moon celebration program and mooncakes.

Jennifer DeCristoforo, author of Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts  will offer free Chinese crafts and fun for kids and her book will be available.
