Chinese crafts and culture from will be offered by Jennifer DeCristoforo, author of ‘Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts’ at this free event in beautiful rural Maine at the Newport Cultural Center. Kids of all ages are welcome to attend.

Join Jennifer DeCristoforo at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA for Lunar New Year children’s crafts from ‘Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts’ on February 13, 2016. We will be celebrating the Year of the Monkey! This is a great event with many performances and exciting Chinese New Year festivities.
Jennifer DeCristoforo will be offering a one-day workshop at the 2016 Chinese Dragon Camp with Bangor Chinese School to the registered campers. This is the biggest Chinese School in Maine and offers year-round programs in Mandarin, Chinese culture and travel. They also host the Maine Chinese Conference.
Join Jennifer DeCristoforo and Lucky Bamboo Crafts for free activities at the CAFAM Mid-Autumn Moon Festival in Portland, Maine on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, 4:30 – 7 pm, Woodfords Congregational Church, Portland, Maine. This is a wonderful gathering with authentic Chinese potluck food and a program of performances celebrating the moon.
Boston Chinatown is the host location for this exciting National Lion Dance Competition. I’m excited to be invited to bring Lucky Bamboo Crafts to the event and make crafts with the kids during the all-day competitions. It is open to the public and a great opportunity to immerse yourself in Chinese culture!
Jennifer DeCristoforo will exhibit Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts at the Foreign Language Association of Maine (FLAME) annual conference in Portland, Maine. Come learn Chinese crafts and cultural concepts to share with students. This event includes workshops and speakers that focus on foreign language education in the Maine schools. This wonderful children’s museum in the heart of Portland, Maine always offers lots of educational fun and often hosts multicultural events. The activities and crafts are free with museum admission.
