Chinese crafts and culture from will be offered by Jennifer DeCristoforo, author of ‘Lucky Bamboo Book of Crafts’ at this free event in beautiful rural Maine at the Newport Cultural Center. Kids of all ages are welcome to attend.
Boston Chinatown is the host location for this exciting National Lion Dance Competition. I’m excited to be invited to bring Lucky Bamboo Crafts to the event and make crafts with the kids during the all-day competitions. It is open to the public and a great opportunity to immerse yourself in Chinese culture!

We will learn about the ancient Chinese history of shadow puppets. Kids will design and make puppets, build a stage, and perform a traditional Chinese legend. This is a two-session program that requires registration.

We are partnering with Unified Asian Communities, a Maine-based nonprofit working to support and empower AAPI communities in Maine. If you register with Wear Orange, you can receive a free Asian craft kit.
